Who are we and what are we about?

We are Kathy Stroh and Randy Dean.  We have been gaming for decades and have been friends for the past 10+ years.  In our years of gaming, we have found many people who love playing games, but are not necessarily “gamers”.  Most people, especially in the United States, see only the mass-marketed games that are in WalMart or Target, or KayBee toys.  They are unaware of the many other gaming treasures that exist, many of which are recent games imported from Europe. What we want to do is introduce the average American to these games.

How are we going to do this?

For right now we are working on establishing a web presence and getting the word out to the gaming community.  This fall, we will have monthly game nights in the Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, area to familiarize the residents there with our opportunities.  Then, in Spring 2008, we will open the doors
to our new game store.  There we will offer not only games with parts and accessories but also memberships to play all different kinds of games at our shop.

What else are we doing now?

We seem to have our hands full now, but here are some things to watch for.  We’re putting together a game calendar, with a picture of a different game on each page, and plenty of game trivia and history in the date boxes, along with announcements of scheduled game conventions and tournaments.
